Position Summary:


The customer service representative (CSR) is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by receiving and processing information in response to inquiries, requests, feedback, schedules, issues, and concerns about the customer’s specific products and services to the customer.


Customer Service Representative Duties:


?Receives customers' requests by telephone or mail, analyzes requests, provides information requested and/or ascertains who best can provide the information, and routes the request to the proper person.
?Performs data entry and maintains updates for all new customer information, sales orders and RMA’s
?Resolves customer questions related to open orders, returns, tracking numbers and on-time delivery.
?Trace the status of orders and escalate to proper channels when orders are late
?Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items and lead-time guides.
?Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint.
?Review customer forecasts and lead-time guides and communicate to the customer concerning placing more orders for commonly ordered products
?Assists in the solution for problems which may include returns, missing shipping documentation, inventory/receipt discrepancies, etc.
?Prepares and forwards preliminary paperwork for returns and replacements and oversee the return of non-warranty units.
?Accurately process customer return transactions and provides inspection reports and dispositions to the appropriate internal and external personnel.
?Analyzes transactions, corrects records and adjusts errors for account reconciliation.
?Coordinate and connects factory/customer matters with World Wide Sales Team.
