职位描述：
General Summary:
Advise and coordinate with product development, sourcing and vendors on the technical aspect of fit specifications. Approve and follow-up samples in different stages of development and production.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensures the conformity of samples to corporate specifications/ requirements and provides technical advice to Sourcing Directors on appropriateness of sample fitting, construction and grading.
Verifies and approves pre-production samples and production sample before pre-shipment inspection
Verifies and approves fitting samples submitted by factory; advises Sourcing Directors and Product Development on the result of technical aspects.
On-site check of production sample upon factory request
Identifies potential product issues and make recommendations
Monitors the pattern manipulation and CAD sketch drawing.
Works with product development and vendors to resolve technical issue at product development stage.
Provides technical advice to vendors upon request and liaises with product development team on methods of quality improvement and production in the areas of sewing and construction, fitting, pattern and grading.
Provides technical input and suggestions in the areas of sewing and construction to Sourcing Directors, Product Development, merchandisers and factories to allow for feasible production of a saleable/quality product.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

Fluency in English (written and oral)
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong MS Excel skills and proficient in general PC applications to include Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop applications
Knowledge of fabric, garment construction and fit
Ability to travel as required


Work Experience &/or Education:
Polytechnic degree in textile and fashion disciplines.
Six to ten years relevant experience in the apparel industry including quality assurance, compliance audit, patternmaking, and construction experience with full knowledge of total production timeline. 举报 分享
