Power-One公司自2000年进驻中国，自2007年起开始在中国拓展新能源业务，推广AURORA系列逆变器，目前在中国已经安装的逆变器超过300MW。为了更好地拓展新能源业务，Power-One于2010年11月注册成立了宝威再生能源(中国)有限公司，生产集中式光伏逆变器及家用型微型逆变器，实现光伏逆变器在中国的本土化生产。
2013年7月, Power-One由ABB公司成功收购，成为ABB集团的下属企业, 加强了Power-One在整个中国的售后服务力量、快速响应能力，并增强了公司综合实力；ABB集团是全球500强企业之一，总部位于瑞士苏黎世。同年11月，ABB集团的电动汽车充电设备产品中国区业务正式导入宝威再生能源中国工厂，ABB 的快速充电技术处于全球领先地位，基于该领先技术ABB可以提供适应任何使用场合充电的解决方案。
宝威再生能源中国工厂同时具备太阳能光伏逆变器及电动汽车充电设备等两项绿色能源产品，标志着Power-One中国在ABB集团的带领下，未来的发展前景令人振奋。

Power-One Renewable Energy (China) Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Power-One, Inc. (below referred as Power-One). With headquarter in California, USA, Power-One is a NASDAQ listed transnational corporation. Based on high-tech market of communication, Power-One also has a worldwide leadership positions on renewable energy development and application, the products breadths step from wind energy system, solar energy, AURORA photovoltaic inverter and I-Illumination public lighting management system. Design center of renewable energy is located in Italy. So far Power-One has installed products total more than 11GW of power globally. Sales revenue up to US$ 1.0 Billion in year 2010, in which about 70% of it came from Renewable Energy products. 3GW of solar inverter sold in year 2011, 4GW sold in year 2012, and up to 6GW in year 2013.

Power-One entered into China market since year 2000, and start the business development for renewable energy since year 2007, sell the AURORA series of inverter, more than 300MW solar inverter were already installed in China market today. To meet the growing business demand in Asia Pacific region, Power-One Renewable Energy (China) Co., Ltd has been established in Nov. 2011, mainly produce central inverter and micro inverter, therefore make the localization for solar inverter production in China.

ABB completed the acquisition of Power-One in July 2013, after that Power-One officially became a member of the ABB group, therefore the after-service and response capability are enhanced, and the overall strength of Power-One is much improved. ABB is a Fortune 500 company, and the headquartered is located in Zurich, Switzerland. In Nov. 2013, ABB’s EVCI ( Electrical Vehicle Charging Infrastructure ) product formally introduced into Power-One Renewable energy China factory for his China business, ABB’s fast charging technology is in leading position in the world and based on this technology , ABB is able to provide charging solution for any use case.
