Employment – full time

Tasks

Responsibility for the steering of the E/M/T/V quality to achieve the Group target, preparation of Quality targets of concept & processes and assuring the Q-target achievements in Module according to target agreements by: Illustrating the maturity (status, chances and risks) of concept and processes; Monitoring & managing Q-target achievements, that is: assign actions to items when targets are not met, communicate, define if actions are needed, escalated & request confirmation of effectiveness ; Executing the agreed Q-management; Management & steering of BMW Brilliance Automotive quality problems by initiating preventative measures, and implementing final solution (capture in PMP process)

Key Responsibility

- Organizations/Plan: Responsible for organization & planning of Q-Timing plan (relevant Module milestones) with PTI-QI, PV-QI and module leader / Q-Activity-Planning (Q-Indicator); Preparation and updating of Q-Planning in Module (selection of Q-Activities, scheduling) for relevant concepts together with Module leader and PV-QI; Resource planning for Q-Activities (internal and external service); Planning and steering the agreed Q-Measures for defined concepts; Responsible for the organization and moderation of Q-reviews; Preparation of a Q-Status (up to synchrony point and status agreement) and documentation of the project progress of the module (e.g. maturity of agreed requirements , risks and problems); Preparation of GWK prognosis (up to synchrony point and status agreement); Monitor target achievement and escalate Q-Target deviations; Preparation of Q-relevant data to support steering circles (Module, Technikkreis, PV- Rund, DOC)

- Target/ Requirement management: Creation and Documentation of Q-Targets at component level in Module derived from; agreed Q- parameters in the project together with Module leader and PV-QI; Requirement Management, involvement in formulating requirements for derivatives into ZAK/DOORS. Comparison and agreement of redundant requirements; Driving the implementation of agreed requirements (E/M/T/V) in Module and component / system specifications (Lastenhefte)

- Risk management: Risk Management, Involvement in design concepts & creation of Q-ratings concerning achievability of Q-Targets product quality / process stability / rework / maintenance & repair friendliness; Compilation and tracking of TOP Risks (strength/weakness analysis, innovations, risk steering list etc in PMC (Project Management Cockpit) including the risk evaluation; Evaluation of concepts concerning quality and initiating preventative activities (e.g. FMEA, FTA etc); Monitoring of Q-relevant testing in Module (Virtual and hardware). Escalate target deviation in testing & validation activities. Monitoring agreed measures with QMT and quality departments in the plant

- Problem Management: Steer the problem management process (PMP) in module. In particular, topic formulation, problem description, handshake between Meld line and Module, milestone achievement. Steer and monitor cross-Module / Complex topics; Participation in meetings concerning the problem management process (e.g. Plant, testing, DOC); Responsible for ensuring transparency of problem landscape utilizing PQM (including escalation)

- Independence, responsibility, decisions: Developing quality sensors to achieve required standards and expectations; Decision as to which PMP landscape each PQM issue should be assigned; Co-coordinating & handshake for all PQM incidents / folders, status 0 to 100; Responsibility for delivering quality targets for area of influence, e.g. KIFA / APU XX; Escalation of issues where necessary to PV-QI, weekly Q-review, QLM, Teilprocesskette; Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills

- Influence on results: Quality sensor performance against requirements; All XX derivative and project vehicles: QZF, QZS, Dp, AQ-QFB, direct Run, rework; PQM landscape targets (PQM 0-100 time target) and KPI'S; A-LPP PQM Early detection rate

- Negotiating Field: Reporting / Escalation - Reporting for PV-QI and Module leader concerning following topics: TOP issues process descriptions / Process targets / responsibilities / timing level of maturity of the Q-processes and Q-relevant impacts project timing plan Lx; Q-processes according to Q-Synchro plan Lx (R-Plan); Q-premises /Product line – premises; PEP-relevant VAs and related papers of the BMW Group; Qualification chart for Module-QI

Qualification

- Bachelor or Master degree level

- Technical product knowledge & understanding of quality topics, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to communicate and co-operate at all levels in BMW Brilliance Automotive

- Ability to communicate and co-operate with quality in BMW Group

- Leadership skills

- Ability to effectively use quality tools, e.g. PQM,FMEA,GWK steering tool, Ishikawa, 5 Why's

- Good English both in spoken and written, German is better

- Comprehensive experience of automotive engineering and quality management, 1-3 years

- Sound knowledge of the use of Quality Techniques and Failure Analysis / Risk Analysis methods, 1-3 years
