Advanced Specialist Material Flow

Corporate Division Powertrain
Division, located in Shenyang/China (possibility for 8 to 10 months training in Germany)
Employment – full time

Tasks

Planning, development and implementation of alternative and optimized material flow; material storage; and material line side feeding concepts. To ensure these can be integrated into existing and new structures to enable the continuous improvement of productivity in all areas of the physical logistics processes

Key Responsibility

- Logistics processes and equipment planning to support long term logistics strategies

- Structural, financial and manpower requirements to meet defined processes

- Vendor, contract and supplier evaluation and selection

- Process measures and project target definition and agreement

- Project timing and resource allocation

- Definition of support processes (IT, Assembly, machining, Quality, etc.) to ensure alignment with logistics processes

- Process development through application of FMEA techniques

- Developing and optimizing required logistics concepts in line with project requirements (timing / cost) and often changing assumptions

- Create proposals for the approval of necessary funding

Qualification

- University degree / graduated in engineering (automotive/engine)

- Excellent knowledge of logistical material flow planning techniques

- Extensive knowledge of storage area techniques as well material handlings and transport technology, 4-6 years

- Adoption and use of planning and evaluation procedures (e.g. EM-Plant, MALAGA etc.)

- Highly developed communication skills

- Team and individual development, management and leadership

- Project management skills

- Awareness of health, safety and environmental issues relevant to the area of responsibility

- Experience of working both cross-function and internationally

- Fluent in Mandarin, knowledge of English and German language skills
