Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for the general engineering & design of new and existing gearboxes for the agriculture applications.The design engineer will take in charge the development activities of a new projects, from the customer requirements analysis to the validation plan of the final product.

Responsibilities:

1/Analyse customer requirements and define the activities plan;

2/Define the optimal layout into account the processes, the assembly requirements and their impact on costs;

3/Use NX for the 3D modelling in order to prepare the designs/layout/drawing for specific elements of products and for assemblies;

4/Use Kisssoft and Kisssys for advanced calculus for gear and bearing design;

5/Cooperate with other business functions for internal and external co-design activities;

6/Manage DFMEA and collaborate in PFMEA;

7/Define the criteria for product validation and check the test results;

8/Become familiar with internal standards and internal procedures;

9/Deal with customers and suppliers to work design troubles out

Required qualifications:

1/Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering;

2/At least two years of experience in gearboxes design;

3/Experience working with 3D CAD;

4/Ability to work in a team and to collaborate efficiently with colleagues;

5/Decision-marking skills and motivation to reach the goals;

Languages used:

Good communication skills in English(speaking and writing)

Appreciated qualifications:

1/Background in automotive engineering;

2/Experience working with NX(3D modelling) and Kisssoft software;

3/Good inclination to manage new projects and activities, finding the best solution within deadlines.
