Job Description
Position Overview: TE Connectivity seeks to employ a Product Development Engineer intern for our Data and Devices business unit.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Brainstorm, setup, and execute advanced development experiments working with engineering staff.
? Analyze test data, provide technical documentation to engineering, and maintain electronic files to preserve design history (MiniTab, Matlab)
? Participate in team meetings; communicate with colleagues including technology staff, test engineering, quality, and manufacturing process development
? Self-development: Learn company systems. Learn about company products.
? Special Projects: Perform special projects and duties as requested by department management.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have the following:
? Currently enrolled for a 4 year BSME degree
? Competent user of a 3D CAD application (AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks)
? Excellent Problem Solving Skills
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage projects with minimal supervision
? Experience with Pro/E, 3D modeling tools, CAE Analysis tools, and tolerance analyses
? Creative and self-motivated individuals
? Strong written and oral communication skills
? Capable of working in a team environment
? Strong planning/organizational skills

? Ability to successfully communicate across all levels and functions within the organization
