Responsibilities:
1. Work out supplier audit plan and carry out audit as scheduled.
2. Participate in new supplier evaluation & selection, according to CMT approach, support potential/new suppliers audit to ensure new qualified suppliers are meeting customers’ requirements.
3. Carry out supplier quality improvement for high risk suppliers together with CMT to reduce the material quality issues.
4. Take part in new products development and transfer to make sure supplier have quality control process to meet customers’ requirements.
5. Align customers’ standard, required quality specifications with suppliers to ensure supplier understand quality requirements.
6. Review PPAP (production part approve process) documents with suppliers to ensure supplier deliver right PPAP documents to customers.
7. Work with suppliers to comes up to the parts’ compliance and meets the required specifications, standards.
8. Work with supplier and CMT team to handle material issue and work out the improvement of actions.
9. Issue and follow up 8D report for major quality issues to ensure the supplier improvement actions are effective.
10. Conduct assessment on top suppliers QDC (Quality, delivery and cost) of quality and QMS score in relates to related improved actions.
11. Monitor suppliers during the implementation of process and design changes; ensure supplier’s change control properly to meet requirements.
12. Work with CMT to clean up all audit NCs to make sure all of them corrected properly & closed in time to meet KPIs.
Work with CMT to clean up the high risk supplier on Quality and CSR to reduce the potential quality or business loss.
13. Supplier dash boards set up/maintain in share point for CMT manager to develop the supplier manager strategy.
14. Other duties assigned by line manager.
Requirements:
1. Languages and education:
Chinese: Native
English: Proficiency in reading, writing and fluent in listening and speaking.
3 years college or equivalent years of experience
2. Minimum 5 year experience in all levels’ supplier quality management in electronic manufacturing industry (ODM, OEM and EMS).
3. Proven knowledge in manufacturing process of variety of components and final assembly of electronic products.
4. Proven knowledge in lean manufacturing techniques.
5. Proven experience in customer interaction.
6. Proven experience in managing outsourced manufacturing suppliers.
7. Proven ISO project audit experience.
8. Proven communication skills.
9. Proven problem solving skills.
10. Proven time management skills.
11. Six Sigma or Certified Quality Engineering qualifications.
12. ISO Internal Auditor qualifications.
13. Major in Engineering is preferred.
