职位描述

岗位目的Purpose of JobBuild, troubleshoot and test electronic hardware and components according to instructions provided by Engineers. Provide direction to Technicians and Associate Technicians. This is the highest level of performance for a technician.
职责描述Task Description
1.Responsible for transitioning products from the new product development stage to manufacturing and providing engineering support for products in active production.
2.Responsible for ensuring quality standards are met in all contract production activities. This includes production part approval processes, working with NPD engineers to establish test specifications and ensuring compliance on all contract work.
3.Responsible for ongoing cost reduction activities and working with suppliers to achieve initial and year-over-year cost objectives.
4.Final approval and release of all electrical documentation (schematics, drawings, PCB layouts, BOM, etc)
5.Selection of alternate electrical components which meet design, electrical, thermal and agency (3C, UL, CSA) requirements
6.Perform agency update activities to ensure ongoing compliance (3C, UL, CSA) is maintained during the product life cycle. This includes test identification, documentation updates and submittals.
7.Work with purchasing to select outside manufacturing house and procure materials, obtain cost and lead time as needed
8.Support plant PFMEA with respect to electronics hardware

任职资格Jobholder Qualifications
3 year engineering degree minimum, 4 year degree preferred from a accredited University
Able to travel internationally to all contract manufacturing locations. 15% travel expected including domestic and international.
5 to 7 years minimum experience in manufacturing/assembly of electronic products. Project management experience preferred.

专业知识及技能Professional Knowledge and Skills:
1. Must be able to quickly learn and analyze hardware and software designs.
2. Must be able to handle communication with manufacturers, sales, marketing and customers as needed to support ongoing production and sales.
3. Good written and oral comm. in English and Mandarin Chinese.
