Job Description:
· Manage the operational local procurement activities
· Manage and coordinate all sourcing activities in China and other South East Asian countries in coordination with the Central Function (Purchasing and SQA)
· Provide required documentation and information (specifications, drawings, etc.) to the suppliers
· Negotiation of all relevant supply contracts
· Strengthen relation with existing suppliers and search for qualified new suppliers in China and other South East Asian countries
· Development and implementation of cost reduction projects
· Contribution to interdisciplinary projects
· Familiar with supplier auditing and approval process
· Forecasting of price development for the budgeting process
· Monthly reporting as established to the headquarter
· Implementation of procurement systems and -processes
· Build up and lead a Purchasing Team within 5 years


Job Requirements:
· Min. 3 years experience in Purchasing Management position in a German or U.S. company
· University Degree (Business and/ or Technical)
· Proven record in negotiation skills
· Good analytical and problem solving skills
· Leadership potential to manage a small group of co-workers
· Hands on mentality
· Target orientated and active character, team orientated
· SAP R/3, Microsoft Office knowledge
· Fluent in oral and written Chinese and English
· Flexible in travelling
