Job Purpose Summary
The role is that of Financial Assistant. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks in respect of technical accounting and technical internal audit.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include the following tasks:
Specific
? Daily check bank accounts, post and allocate premiums in ALEX and Dimensions.
? Sanctions check for new business and check payees in payment process
? Support month end procedures (e.g. bank reconciliations)
? Any other necessary task as required
General
? Answering phone calls and responding to e-mails
? There will be a requirement to cover for other staff members as required.
? Manage personal time and productivity
? Utilize and maintain company systems and databases such as Excel, Word, ALEX.
? Comply with and respect company processes and procedures and industry regulations
? Attend training as required to develop relevant knowledge and skills
? Adhere to the company health and safety policy
? Identify opportunities for personal development and growth
? Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time

Planning and organising:
Plan activities thoroughly for self and others. Build milestones and timetables into plans, monitor progress and adjust them as necessary in response to any changes.

Complete projects within required timescales and to agreed specifications.
Open to change:
Flexible and prepared to try out new ideas.
Strategic perspective:
Look at issues with a broad view to achieve the organisation’s goals. Think ahead and prepare for the future.
