Overview
Responsible for onsite support of TE China Suzhou Xiangcheng with IT needs in the following areas;
The role will work primarily with desktop support and helpdesk group on a day to day basis with focus on supporting onsite customers but must also be able to diagnose and provide solutions to problems that arise off campus including domestic, remote and international users.
He/she must be able to participate in projects supporting both the individual’s and the group IT’s TEIS goals.
The role will manage Suzhou Xiangcheng all IT asset. Operational duties include but not limited to, new hirer PC setups, IT asset life cycle tracking, performing technical troubleshooting, desktop and application systems support.

Primary Responsibilities:
?Provide 2nd level technical support of installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware (computer, printer, phone, etc.) and software, maintain high level of service, efficiency and response possible.
?Install and maintain all workstation, telephone and Telepresence; Monitor the daily operation of all servers and network operation, monitor computer rooms including daily management and emergency handling such as UPS; Provide technical support to all client; In order to guarantee the normal operation of all devices.
?Maintain individual queue with Remedy Helpdesk application for managing and resolving an appropriate number of tickets within the required SLA
?Work closely with Asset Management team to actively manage IT assets lifecycle via the standard Asset Management tool and process
?End user computer training

Competencies & Experience Required/Desired:
?3+ years experience troubleshooting computer networks, hardware and software
?Working knowledge of Windows server active directory and user account management
?Rich experience for IT operation in manufactory
?Excellent Windows 7, Windows 8 and Macintosh troubleshooting skills
?Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office365 applications.
?Strong written and verbal communication skills
?Excellent customer service skills
?Digital, iMac, mobility device knowledge a plus
?Multilingual skills a plus
?The selected candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment as well as the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Qualification Required/Desired:
?Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
?With CCNA/CCNP certificate preferred.

 

Position Justification:

 
?Total 2 sites need to be supported, including the Dragon new plant and the outsourced warehouse, increasing and various IT request for the manufactory, for example, IT training such as IT knowledge and IT policy for increasing new hiring, IT routine such as IT equipment purchase/IT inventory management, PC setup/assignment, local IT procedure guide, cost control and IT troubleshooting, IT ticket resolving, most things need to be resolved timely ONSITE.
?For IT day-to-day maintenance scope, relate to CCTV, Johnson Control system, attendance system, server room, network, IT hardware(like RF, Telepresence, IP phone, related applications), production line IT equipment and system supporting, many various IT request need to be resolved in time On Site, some required communication with local vender such as China Unicom, China Telecom and the 3rd vendor. 举报 分享
