The Hardware Product Engineer will be responsible for:
· Pursue and support cost reduction activities to achieve established company goals.
· Possess a detailed knowledge of an Agile&MRP system.
· Comprehensive knowledge of BOM structure and change control processes.
· Provide technical support via direct communication to internal customers&contract manufacturer.
· Provide technical support and assist in resolution of manufacturing problems as required.
· Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
· Interacts with Contract Manufacturers(CM) to resolve component procurement issues,and review the production cost.
· Perform First Article and incoming inspection for PCBA&mechanical parts and assemblies.
· Work cross functionally to ensure the resolution of problems and actions as needed.
· Good interpersonal and training skills.
· Ability to work independently,resolve technical and manufacturing issues without detailed direction,and work as part of a team.
· Ability to work within strict deadlines.
· Capability to accurately and efficiently work on multiple projects.
Required Skills&Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in electronics,product & industrial design,or related filed.
· Minimum of 10 years experiences in product engineering & manufacturing.
· Excellent knowledge in DFM,PCB Fabrication and PCB Assembly process.
· Prior experience with IPC-A-610, & IPC-A-600,as well as other applicable standards.
· Good knowledge in component engineering & ROHS.
· Be familiar with Agile Product Database Management is a PLUS.
· Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software,such as Solidwork,AutoCAD,Allegro Cadence,CADCAM350& GC-Prevue.
· Working Experiences in contract manufacture is a plus.
· Knowledge and experiences in mechanical engineering is a plus.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,good teamwork adaptability,good oral and written English skills,self-motivated.
· Have a determined mindset and personal commitment to high quality work with schedule.
· Ability to occasional travel on an 'as required' basis.
