Responsibilities Include:
1. Provide leadership for assigned projects. Drive projects to completion in a timely manner.
Proactively develop and execute sourcing projects through project initiating and planning, team engagement, advance quality planning, and prompt follow-up.
2. Search for and evaluate suppliers to gain the best quality, cost and delivery of purchased materials that are consistent with required standards.
3. Analyze category data, prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers.
4. Negotiate prices, payment terms and Gunnebo Supply Agreement with suppliers and enforce Supply Agreement.
5. Develop supplier performance management strategy, conduct supplier performance review and support supply base performance improvement.
6. Monitor and react to critical market forecasts and condition changes. Manage supplier capacity in line with category objectives.
7. Support engineering and product management with new product launches, product improvements and changes, and product rationalization.
8. Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and procedure.
9. Develop, implement, and manage metrics to track overall success and effectiveness of China sourcing project performance.
10. Conduct business in a manner that is consistent with Gunnebo policies and procedures including Gunnebo Business Code of Conduct.

Position Requirements:
1. Combined 10+ year experiences in strategic sourcing, sourcing project management,
manufacturing engineering or other related operations.
2. A proven track record of success in strategic sourcing or sourcing project management in a role
requiring leadership.
3. Strong project management and team leadership skills with the ability to develop strong support
for change with all levels of internal and external organizations.
4. Strong background in fabrication, welding, process control, advance quality planning, project planning, and/or purchasing. Ability to read blue prints. Understand the basics for manufacturing process control and ERP system.
5. Strong experienced for the safe is highly appreciated. Good experience for Secure Storage Products (gate, fence, safety glass etc).
6. Strong English communication ability. Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English.
7. Self-driven, result and process oriented. Motivated to work effectively without direct supervision.
8. Good interpersonal skills.
9. Solid computer skills in Excel, Power Point and Word. Strong analytical ability.
10. Willing to travel extensively (50%)
11. Bachelor degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
