Job Purpose
To support the delivery of Asia-Pacific Service Line business objectives by facilitating effective internal communication in line with the integrated Markets internal communication plan.
Responsibilities
Strategy (10%)
Contribute to the development of the Markets internal communication strategy.
Apply the strategy appropriately to meet the needs of the TAS (Transaction Advisory Services) and Tax service line and accounts community.
Develop effective change and communication strategies (within the context of the Markets internal communication strategy) for needs arising within TAS and Tax.
Ensure fast and consistent deployment of initiatives and best practice.
Relationship (30%)
Build trusted advisor relationships with the service line leader and leadership team.
Work with other members of the communications team to deliver a consistent approach.
Proactively share ideas within Asia-Pacific
Delivery (60%)
Ensure fast and consistent deployment of initiatives and best practice.
Advise TAS and Tax leadership teams to ensure effective and coordinated deployment of Asia-Pacific and Sub-Area initiatives and change programs.
Provide communication counsel to the leadership teams, consulting regularly. Work closely with the knowledge and marketing teams to support commercial objectives (marketing communications).
Support the development and continuous improvement of the core set of Asia Pacific internal communication channels, e.g. Connection, Gateway, Ernst & Young Home Page.
Liaise with Media Relations to align internal and external communication plans and strategy.
Ensure that TAS and Tax have a clear understanding of and adhere to communication protocols across the service line.
Requirements
·Graduate with professional or higher qualification in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, or Public Relations.
·At least 5 years of strategic internal communications experience with proven track record supporting executive teams.
·Experience in a cross-border role.
·Working knowledge of Ernst & Young, professional services sector, or matrix organisations.
·Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
·Strong verbal and written English.
·Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin advantageous.
