职位描述
Purchasing Supervisor
Report to: Purchasing Manager (Male)
Role:
1. Supplier & Project management
- Project support in implementing filter business;
- Price analysis and price benchmarking of potential sources;
- Sourcing and developing supplier contact and widen supplier network;
- Potential supplier scanning;
- Supplier strategy (including Business planning);
- Setup & update of supplier profile in local SAP system.
2. Price Negotiation & contract management
- Lead price negotiation;
- Responsible for purchasing agreement renewal and timely price update to local ERP
System;
- Maintain supplier relationship;
- Monitor and provide quarterly update of material development and currency
exchange & estimate implications to cost where necessary.
3. Supplier Development
- Conduct supplier Performance Assessment;
- Lead cost reduction exercise with supplier;
- Maintain and update local Supplier Pyramid;
- Develop local qualified vendors so as to realize cost control and efficiency improvement;
- Support corporate initiatives with Supplier according to Corporate's requirements
4. Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly price index and purchase volume report;
- Regular update of supplier status in term of contract validity, warranty, special terms etc;
- Regular update of project status;
- Business planning.
5. Planning / Controlling and Internal Processes
- Initiate, maintain/ review related documented procedures;
6. Other Functions / Tasks
- Co-ordination of tasks with other functions;
- Support implementation of Filter program and sourcing strategies;
- Support annual purchasing events if necessary;
- Support in Technical & Quality issues when feasible;
- Conducts related training to colleagues where required;
Requirement:
1. Work Experience
- Must have at least 5 years' experience in Purchasing and Supplier Management in Auto field & multi-national company;
- Preferred with international Exposure;
- Rich experience as a buyer for technical products;
- Purchasing experience with filter business is a plus.
2. Languages
- Proficient oral- and written communication in Chinese & English;
- Able to lead negotiations in Chinese;
- German language ability is a plus.
3. Education
- Bachelor Degree. Major in Engineering is a plus
4. Soft skills
- Strong ability in business negotiation and problem solving;
- Good communication, planning and organization ability;
- High level of social competence;
- Rich knowledge of TS16949 standard and kinds of quality issues in Auto industry;
- Skilled in kinds of software, like SAP, JDE, or ERP, Excel, PPT, etc;
- Some basic finance knowledge is a plus.
