Position Summary:
The IT Plant Manager is responsible for infrastructure implementation and support in the Suzhou plant (build up of the local infrastructure, server room, workplace planning, coordination of contracts for hardware/software/communication circuits). Ability to coordinate and work with local subcontractors and vendors to insure that all local infrastructure, connections, workplace environments are implemented on time and on within costs based on the project plan.This position will also help coordinate IT requests within the country of China for the other sites (Beijing, Shanghai, others).

Job Funtion:
? Responsible for defining needs and priorities with the outsourcer to ensure that service levels meet or exceed defined SLA requirements included in the contract are satisfied.
? Responsible for local infrastructure management; needs to ensure business continuity. It is important the infrastructure comply with local and corporate guidelines as well as be defined in the project definition.
? Responsible for local users workplace management
? Ensure users SLA is met
? Coordinates outsourcer and third party vendors activities
? Responsible for application management support related to operation
? Manages specific application projects related to operation on ERP or vertical systems related to operations (i.e. MES systems, shop floor control, lean system, etc.)
? Collects local business requirements and work together with Corporate IT to identify how the request could be implemented
? Manages the company IT applications. Evaluates/approves users requests, manages priorities and he is the escalation point for pending user requests/issues
? Coordinates IT activities related to the operation of the Suzhou plant following the guidelines of IT corporate and ensuring business requirements are met in respect of these
? Position will also help coordinate IT requests within the country of China for the other sites (Beijing, Shanghai, others).
? Implement a process flow in order to manage the day to day user requests toward the outsourcer and be the escalation point for the local users in case of issues or collection of local business requirements.
? Participate within local project teams as the local IT lead for collecting local requirements and coordinating with local key users during the test phase and project acceptance.
? Upon application project completion, the IT Manager is responsible for managing the application landscape for the Suzhou plant that includes applications related to operations and workplace management.
? In addition, the IT Manager performs a broad range of tasks that may include planning, requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, installation, maintenance, support, training and implementation of information technology solutions and will be held accountable for the successful implementation of substantial project efforts.
 
Knowledge and Skill sets:
- Strong Infrastructure knowledge and skills to make the candidate capable to implement the infrastructure project of the LAN and to manage it ensuring business continuity once the project is implemented
- Strong Windows Server Knowledge
- Strong VMWare knowledge
- Strong Network knowledge
- Good understand of ITIL methodology
. ERP system functional landscape for Manufacturing processes/areas
. SAP functional knowledge for manufacturing modules PP, MM, PM, etc.
. Strong sense of urgency, problem solving skills and customer focus.
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
. Requires flexibility to adapt to and willingness to learn new technologies.
. Excellent knowledge of information technologies, systems design and programming.
. Strong ability to work in a team environment.
. Exceptional technical abilities and a thorough knowledge of business concepts.
. Fluent in English language speaking and writing - Critical
 
Education:
University degree in Information technology
 
Experience:
At least 3 years experience in similar role for multinational manufacturing companies or IT consultancy companies 举报 分享
