职位描述:
1. Purpose:

In charge of delivering the products to the customers and ensuring proper respect for all HES aspects, the timely and cost effective manufacture of quality products, and the effective management of our assets.

Proper management and Continuous Improvement of those activities require a strong focus on People management.

Focus on the market and customer requirements and ensuring cross-functional cooperation with Sales, M&T, R&D, Product Management, Purchasing and Shared Services are key elements of the function.

2. Direct Reports:

Direct reports: Three Production Managers in Mix plant, Press Hall and Finishing area, Quality Manager, Technical Manager, Maintenance Manager, tooling supervisor, HES officer,
Indirect reports: Lean manager –.

3. Dimensions of Position:

Manager an operations with 300 million RMB of Total Manufacturing Cost and 300 employees.

4. Key Result Areas:

? HSE: Communicating, setting goals and championing the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors and visitors. Respecting the environment and minimizing our workplace environmental impacts. Meeting or exceeding legal and regulatory compliance as well as group standards. Ensuring the security of plant(s) and protecting the assets against hazards. Auditing and continuously improving work conditions. Leading timely and thorough accident and incident investigation.

? Technical / Quality: Ensuring value and customer satisfaction through the delivery of products adhering to specifications (including packaging and labeling), proper respect and continuous improvement of Control Plans, proper treatment of CCARs, prompt and courteous answer to RFQ (Request For Quotation), deploying and ensuring the respect of shop floor quality tools, etc. Developing our teams’ problem solving capabilities through PPS implementation. Satisfying Group and external Quality System requirements. Contributing to Product / Process Development through Production and local conditions knowledge and optimization.

? Production Control and Logestics (PC&L): Championing customer satisfaction through on-time-delivery. Leveling production workload through Sales & Operations planning while optimizing Raw Material and Work In Progress inventory levels.
? Production: Driving SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) performance.
Building plant budget and meeting standard costs. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting and variance analysis. Deploying the shop floor management systems. Improving and Maintaining the condition of assets.
? Manufacturing Engineering and Capex: Driving product/process SQCD improvement. Implementing Group and BU best practices and standards. Implementing Capex projects on time on budget. Optimizing plant lay-out and equipment usage. Developing and implementing the 3 year site development plan. Managing Strategic Capacity planning and Manufacturing footprint, including contingency plans. Identifying, validating and successfully deploying new technologies.
? New Product Introduction (NPI): Ensuring manufacturing readiness and launches at plant level. Contributing to the early phases of New Product Introduction. Participating in the Gate Reviews and project planning.
? Suppliers: Driving suppliers’ performance improvement with Purchasing. Working with Purchasing, Product Management and R&D to validate alternative sources and re-source materials whenever appropriate. Procuring together with Purchasing all elements necessary to Plant Operations and resale activities.
? Lean/Continuous Improvement: Defining, championing, and implementing Lean deployment plan. Developing Operations flexibility. Driving plant SQCDP continuous improvement, leading, training, and coaching through workshops. Deploying objectives throughout the organization, involving everyone in continuous improvement process. Involving functional networks in improvement process.
? People: Ensuring staffing, induction, training and development of plant employees. Building and maintaining succession plans. Managing social climate on the shop floor. Developing and coaching all employees, identifying future Experts and Managers. Ensuring appropriate reward and recognition, including honest and timely feedback and appraisals. Ensuring compliance with local employment laws. Leading by example to build work ethics reflecting the Company Values.
7. Qualifications:

Bachelor or above degree with major in Refractory Material Science and Engineering or equivalent

8. Experience:

He / she should has over 10 years’ working experience, 3 to 5 years at least in senior leader role in operations environment.

9. Knowledge:

Has sufficient finance knowledge for operations of middle size manufacturing site.
Has basic Manufacturing Lean knowledge.
