Freudenberg & Vilene International Ltd. is a leading multinational supplier of interlinings and lining for the garment industry.

With the Asia headquarter in Hong Kong, we have an opening for a competent and self-motivated individual to fill the position of: Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop meaningful tools to promote company products for the apparel industry, including identifying product Unique Selling Points through close work with Sales and Product Managers

- Design, create content, and produce regional collaterals in support of product launches, events and marketing campaigns

- Copywriting, translation, and sourcing of stock photography, for internal and external communications materials

- Adapt International print, multi-media technical and marketing documents and literature to suit Asia-context

- Assist in formulating product promotion and campaign strategies to launch new products and initiatives to drive awareness and sales growth

- Execute campaigns & launches on a regional and global scale

- Interpret and apply the Corporate Brand Identity guidelines to all communications materials

- Translate English/Simplified Chinese texts for all types of marketing communications (internal & external), including brochures, newsletters, presentations, multi-media scripts, etc.

- Create print-ready layouts in Adobe InDesign/Illustrator and PowerPoint presentations to communicate product messages

- Undertake other projects under the general function of Marketing Communications function when needed.

Location: Hongkong

Qualifications and Experience

- Degree holder in Marketing, Language, Journalism, Communications, or related discipline

- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in related field

- Excellent in written English & simplified Chinese, and fluent in spoken English & Mandarin

- Experience in textiles & garment industry is strongly preferred

- Working knowledge or experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required

- Strong interpersonal and business communications skill

- Strong marketing sense and able to work independently

- Self-motivated, aggressive, good team player and demonstrate creative thinking
