Job Description :

? Responsible for the financial and management accounting under his/her control
? Directs and has responsibility for the plant's accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports
? Appraises operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operations policies, trends and increased profit opportunities
? Assists in the direction and administration of the plant's financial operations
? Manages the preparation and review the budget and various other financial operating reports
? May manage one or more accounting departments, as delegated by the controller
? Presents reports of findings and recommendations to management pertaining to the activities of the business unit
? Monitors and improves internal controls and processes (owns processes under his/her direct control)


Job Requirements:

? Minimum 7 years experience
? BS in Finance, Tax, Accounting or equivalent required
? Works under general supervision
? Working knowledge of the business
? Strong understanding of financial systems
? Knows and applies fundamental financial concepts, practices and procedures
? In-depth working knowledge of compliance rules and regulations
? In-depth understanding of the market and ability to apply this knowledge to complex situations: financial environment, external and internal issues facing the organization, market trends
? Strong analytical skills
? Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting
? Working knowledge of the business

Preferred Requirements & Skills:
? CPA or CMA preferred
