Summary
The Sr. HR Specialist is responsible for day to day administration of HR policies and procedures as well as support of all HR initiatives in accordance with corporate guidelines and local laws.
Position Overview
Ensure understanding and compliance with respect to human resource policies & procedures.
Under the direction of the HR Manager, coordinate various human resource programs.
Provide operational support in areas such as Employee Induction; Employee Agreements; Employee Relocation; Employee Transfer or position changes; Performance Management, Terminations, Candidate interviews, Employee Pre-employment medical tests and Employee Exit Interviews.
Execute company policies and actions within the framework of Chinese law.
Assist with job postings, scheduling interviews, coordinating interview logistics.
Perform leave & attendance management
Work with Finance to prepare monthly payroll and ensure that it is done accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinate 1st Day of Hire documentation for new hires. Update and input all employee data in HR system. Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance are timely maintained with 100% accuracy.
Process purchase orders for the department
Assist in scheduling various meetings and employee programs/events in compliance with department needs.
Provide administrative support for training programs/initiatives to include site arrangement/reservation, foods and accommodation, training material preparation, etc.
Coordinate policy/benefit administration in local office that includes leave administration, medical coverage and insurance coverage.
Coordinate termination/cessation of service documentation.
Ensure adherence to all personnel policies and company handbooks
Manage the employee communications to ensure announcements, notices, polices, etc. are properly distributed throughout the office.
Act as local liaison/daily contact for various HR related vendors.
Assist in ad hoc project and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years' working experience in human resources functions
Good interpersonal and communication skills required
Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
Able to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
Knowledge on HR policies and practices
Knowledge of local governmental policy, regulations and labor laws
Resourceful, results focused and detail-oriented
Analytical and computer literate
