Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree, majored in mechanical & electrical engineering.
2. Fluent spoken English and written English.
3. Over 5 years of purchasing experience in mechanical manufacturing field, especially familiar with production process such as: aluminum, machining, stamping & forming, casting, plastic injection, etc.
4. Capable of leading several project groups with direct customer and supplier contact.
5. Excellent cost breakdown and price negotiation skills.
6. God communication skills and team workmanship.
7. High integrity, appear and act professionally as a representative for Global Industries.
8. Proactive with the right drive for managing projects and secure continuous progress.
9. Knowledge and experience in working in accordance with ISO 9001.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage inquiry process and supplier contacts according to supplier management procedure.
2. Source local supplier, find right supplier according to request from customer.
3. To monitor supplier and find the best price –service –quality combination.
4. Accompany customer to visit supplier.
5. Participate in quality audits at supplier workshops.
6. Follow Global Industries’ Quality Management System in all it’s details.
7. To monitor supplier schedules and to participate in production and packing planning, follow – up and other activities so as to ensure booking of capacity with suppliers.
8. To set up good and close cooperation with suppliers and set up a supplier pool for our main products.
9. Local purchasing; coordinate RFQ from customer; sample and tooling order coordinate; mass production, delivery, delay coordinate.
10. Project management; follow the different request form customer and make sure that all open points can be responded to customer in time; contact windows for customer and supplier.
11. Cost reduction, follow the market cost and achieve annual cost reduction.
12. When needed, to assist purchaser for relevant issues.
13. To ensure internal growth of the company by participating in activities related to its development. (planning meetings and drafting of the quality system)
14. Continuously reporting and updating for projects and the progress to manager and CEO.
15. To finish other work assigned by manager.
