Information Technology

The Central Function Information Technology, which is Infineons IT department, is responsible for the continuous provision of soft- and hardware, the constant maintenance of tools and networks, the information security, the internal IT-support and much more. Thereby the IT-employees support the trouble-free procedure at Infineon day after day.

In your new role you will:

• Provide 3rd level support to ensure issue tickets are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreement.
• Drive problem management for pro-active management of IT services.
• Perform user requirements engineering, design and development for IT solutions in respective domain area.
• Perform testing, user training and deployment of IT solutions in systematic way.
• Undertake change & release management for IT services / software deployment cycle.
• Monitor system health and capacity and perform pro-active system maintenance to ensure reliable 24x7 operation of mission-critical applications.
• Undertake 24x7 on-call duty where necessary.
• Contribute to corporate IT projects.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or related.
• Minimum 5 years related experience, experience in semiconductor or electronic manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Possesses a 'hands-on' approach towards work and good initiative and outspoken.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work both independently and a team player in a global setup.
• Good knowledge of distributed systems and middleware (TibcoRV).
• Good knowledge of development in Windows environment (.net, C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net, WWF-Windows Workflow Foundation, WPF-Windows Presentation Foundation).
• Experience of server environment (Unix server, Windows Server, Linux).
• Experience of Databases, Oracle, MSSQL (PL/SQL, SQL scripts).
