Role Summary/Purpose

GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.Be responsible for technology transfer from design to manufacturing, to support local project and products launch (high/low voltage converter) in China facility.

Essential Responsibilities

- Design the 2D drawings and 3D model of mechanical components and assemblies for the new equipment. - Localized design of the 2D drawings and 3D model as the technical improvement and customized requirement with electrical and power electronic engineer. - Create the BOM in SAP system for the mechanical components and equipment. - Perform the detailed equipment drawings and assembly instruction by assembling process. - Support manufacturing to assemble the equipment according with drawings and assembly instruction. - Support for mechanical parts localization, and support souring Engineer on new vendor qualification. - Support to make the sample qualification and support the SQE for the technical clarification with vendors. - Assure all design activities to comply with company's applicable standards strictly. - Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor degree or above of mechanical engineering or related major.- English language ability, such as spoken and writing is required.- Minimum 4-5 years real working experience in mechanical design and Industrialization.- Mechanical theory of design, mechanics, machining and manufacturing process. - Demonstrated proficiency with Pro/E, Auto CAD software.

Desired Characteristics

- Familiar with sheet-metal, insulating material, cabinet and IEC EMC standard.- Knowledge in static analysis is preferred. - Thermal design experience is plus.- Prefer to have the knowledge of power electronics and circuit diagram.- Good self-analysis and trouble-shooting ability.- Self-learning, Team work spirit.
