Role Statement:
-Collaborate with Mfg Focus Team & Global Product/Process Development teams on new processes according to product requirements and the BoP (Bill of Process)
-Focus on Process Launch to Production, providing data and analysis to ensure quality, and provide feedback to GMT for future programs


Key Responsibility:

People Management & Development

-Provide operator proficiency training in quality techniques and develop more junior engineers and technicians

.Production Readiness & Launch
-Assume responsibility of the safe launch of the mfg processes into production from the global product/process design sites
-Draft QIP for every process, from IQC to FQC, from Stamping, Plating, Molding to Assembly;
-Insure process capability of all mfg processes by providing data on quality metrics as described by team
-Consult with GMT & MFT to provide design-for-manufacturability suggestions on BoP/BoE

Process Continuous Improvement
-Drive inspectors to perform IQC, IPQC and OQC based on QIP;
-Provide Pareto, Corrective Action Tracking, Short & Long term effectiveness tracking and containment of quality issues
-?Focus on the reduction of costs for all programs
- Control the scrap for all mfg processes?
-Insure safety standards and safe guards are in place to protect employees -Lead FMEA to ensure assembly manufacturing process is fail-safe; and asset-up according to the BoP (Bill of Process) as released


Equipment Maintenance& Management

-Provide direction and detailed maintenance tracking for plant equipment and tools to support your processes
- Drive Inspection equipment GR&R and calibrations




Education (min requirement)

-Bachelor or above in Quality, Statistics, Mechanical and/or Electronic engineering
-3-5+ years working experience in relevant manufacturing environment

Personal attributes & competencies

-Fluent in English with good communication skill both in English and Chinese
-Knowledge of ISO9000 and TS16949, QC tools and six sigma.
-must be a team player with good communication skills
-Familiar with design tools such as Pro-E, AutoCAD will be a plus;
-Six sigma GB or BB will be a plus;
