- Manage the project cluster/ project to continuously improve the cost optimization/man/machine productivity in North/South East Asia
- Regional change agent- direct man productivity
- Coach and develop the IE engineers to grow to support operation organization
TASK DESCRIPTION
1.Take the lead to improve man/machine productivity and support plant reduce the gap with WLM
-Lead the man/machine productivity improvement projects at plants in North/South East Asia as IE project manager to reduce the total cost
2. Take lead of lean tools application in plants (WLM, WLM calculator,HIPO/MIPO, VSM,SMED,etc.)
- Further develop, promote and facilitate the Lean tools application in Bekaert plants in North/South East Asia as daily floor management tools for foremen, supervisors and production managers (FLM).
- To further update other Lean tools for plants North/South East Asia (WLM,WLM calcualtor,HIPO/MIPO, Green HIPO)
3.Take the lead to develop/implement reports/key Lean metrics
-Work together with global IE/IT team to develop/implement Lean reports(eg. Management reports.FLM reports.Man occuapation reports,scrap/rejects reports.etc. Key Lean metrics: OEE/TEEP/Man occuaption/manhours/ton etc.)
4.Support plant BMS project as function expertise and lead plant BMS project
-Work together with globall change agent team and lead plant BMS project to realize BMS target
5.WIP: build up , implement and follow up the WIP
-Benchmark WIP among plants and give suggestion to optimize WIP level
6.Take lead of shopfloor management and support plant to further improve
-Further improve shopfloor management level accroding playbook
7.Technical/behavior/managerial tools training providing for total people, Lean Manufacturing concepts/tools training for operation people.
-Training hours deliveried
-Nr. Of people covered
-Training effectiviness and people competence improvement
8.Strategy projects implementation which were identified by Global IE team as interface.
-Global project achievement
9. Innovation (Good Practics Sharing) leverage within RR and Wire bussiness
-Nr. Of Good Practices shared and adopted in domain
VI. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
1. Bachelor or Master degree in engineering,mechanical, electronics, material business administration or related filed.
2. At least 3 years of experience in production , operation related position or lean manufacturing deployment related position for an industrial multinational manufacturing company.
3. Be proficient in Lean manufacturing and six sigma methodology. Lean master and six sigma green/black belt trained.
4. Lean/six sigma projects management and coaching skills. rich projects leading and coaching experience.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive manner with the maturity to operate in an international company and relate to different company, functions and departments.
6. Strong communication skill in both speaking & written of Mandarin & English
7. Energetic, highly motivated, self-confident, open-minded
8. Strong thinking and analytical skills, process-oriented, quick learner
