Key Areas of Activity
Responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are being met. Coordinate RFQ and Sample Requests from customers; ensures quotes and samples are delivered on time. Understand and communicate critical information for customer New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements. Plan and coordinate quarterly price reduction with customer. Responsible for coordinating Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to ensure continuous improvement of customer satisfaction. Manages customer specific information requests as required.
Key Responsibilities in detail
1.Create and maintain a strong relationship with the customer;
2.Coordinate customer requests for pricing (RFQ) and product samples with Operations team. Ensure that requests are met within required leadtime,identify any risks to meet customer request and take action to eliminate/mitigate;
3.With Business Unit Manager(s),ensure that product pricing meets customer targets to maintain competitiveness whilst maximizing profit potential;
4.Communicate customer requirements effectively to Operations teams and communicate project status to customer. Ensure clear understanding and agreement of customer requirements with all parties;
5.Communicate as required with Technical BUC and/or Technical Director in USA to ensure clear communication of customer requirements on new programs;
6.Participate in NPI reviews as required to ensure that all project deliverables are being met. Highlight any risks and take action to eliminate/mitigate;
7.Plan and manage the quarterly price reduction plan for customer. Coordinate cost reduction activity with Operations to ensure profitability is maintained;
8.Gather ongoing data and prepare reports for customer Quality, Delivery, Pricing, Cost reduction, Responsiveness, Service and other metrics as required. Coordinate the QBR meeting with customer and drive resulting actions;
9.Manage product specific EOL cycle ensuring that customer needs are met whilst minimizing risk of obsolete materials to Jabil;
10.Ensure that any customer specific information of reporting requirements are met;
Job Requirements
1.Bachelor’s degree in appropriate technical or business discipline;
2.5 years manufacturing or related commercial experience;
3.Experienced in communicating directly with customers;
4.Good project management skills and experience;
5.Excellent communication skills essential
6.Excellent English language skills; written and oral.
