Responsibilities



· Lead strategically and effectively technical product development, in line with time, cost, investments and quality targets define by Company product strategy

· Develop projects, both for the development of new products and the management of current ones, guaranteeing innovation, architecture, systems and components standardization, technical feasibility and concerning documentation

· Define, by choosing the best trade-off between development standards and requirements, the product/process specifications for the platform operations

· Ensure product specifications' stability during the entire development process up to product launch, through a constant control on progress, aimed to identify problems and variations between plans and realized operation and to promote necessary actions for their mitigation

· Ensure technical development according to time, cost, quality and performance targets.

· Contribute to product continuous improvement after the launch in production by an effective cooperation with Manufacturing Director

· Ensure technical/technological excellence, by promoting research and technical know how development and diffusion

· Monitor and manage the team, support them in their daily work and be responsible of succession planning, coaching, organizational development (structure & process) and people development (in co-ordination with HR ).







Report:

· General Manager / Functional report to IVECO Light Platform SVP.





Requirements

· Graduate degree in engineering, or equivalent

· Experience in product engineering and in a senior management position in a light duty truck multinational company (8 year's min.)

· Successful work experience in a foreign company abroad China (USA or Europe) in the relevant position

· High technical skills and mastery in project management

· Familiarity to advance engineering practices

· Team player willing to integrate into the corporate culture

· Chinese Mandarin and fluent English required

· Availability to overseas assignment in Europe for 18-24 months
