ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities:
? Produces complete controls solutions and electrical design packages based on customer specification, and standardized design practices used at the company.
? Formulates and produces complete electrical design package which includes detailed schematics, cable routing diagrams, panel layouts, bills of materials, and purchase of material, based on company standard specifications and customers requirements. In addition, he/she is required to design and implements HMI or PLC programs specific to customer and project requirements.
? Provide technical advice and support to other departments as and when required such as job quotation, cost analysis, component/ material recommendation, job tender, material testing and submission, etc.
? Assist in the manufacturing and commissioning stage to provide solution for any technical or functional problems.
? Attend to site (local & overseas) testing and commissioning whenever the need arises.
Job Requirements:
? Diploma or Degree in Control & Instrumentation/Electrical/IT Engineering or equivalent discipline.
? Minimum 3 years experience in control systems design, preferably in the marine & offshore field.
? Strong trouble-shooting, problem-solving skills.
? Team Player with good communication skills.
? Proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCad.
? Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S7 and AB ControlLogix), HMI (Proface and Panelview), VFD (ABB) would be an advantage.
