Job Responsibility:
1. Effective product development implementation.
2. Work with GM in Nantong with regards to engineering projects to meet project specifications.
3. Provide technical expertise and engineering resources to both Engineering staff and other departments.
4. Direct product re-design or development to meet marketing and customer requirements, and assure the product to be in compliance with ISO standard or other international and the government standards.
5. Hire, train, supervise and develop engineering staffs.
6. Actively contribute to developing engineering best practices in order to improve engineering productivity and efficiency, support and follow up the company policies and procedures, implement the required tasks like 5S, safety ect.
7. Work closely with purchasing, quality, operations and EHS to identify qualified vendors, corrective actions, delivery commitments and improved quality of products.
8. Work with engineering team to establish local controls for documentation management.
9. Implement policies and goals in alignment with Heico and Ancra corporate policies, strategic plan and philosophies.
10. Responsible for the new product qualification with the customers.
11. Direct BOM and MOM set up, revise in ERP system;
12. Set, review and revise objectives for the department to ensure required level of performance and transparency.
13. Responsible for cost analysis, instill a low cost/high quality philosophy including cost reduction and unnecessary waste to ensure engineering department function is cost effective.
14. Develop and monitor operating budget while identifying areas in which reductions can be made.
15. Communicate engineering achievements and issues to the appropriate corporate entities, and manage well all the engineering drawings and documents in NKL, implement product review and validation including all of the related documents.
16. Responsible to make sure that engineers receive all the required trainings in a timely manner and also coordinate with the Human Resource department in Nantong to maintain the training record in one common location.

Qualifications
1. BS University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Tool Design, Technology or equivalent is strongly preferred.
2. Strong leadership in Engineering.
3. Fluent in reading, writing in English and Mandarin, fluent English speaking is preferred;
4. Working experience with ERP, PDM and ECO is preferred.
5. Working experience with a multinational manufacturing company is preferred.
6. Hands on Manager, clear thinker, problem solver and communicator with integrity and adequate diplomacy.
7. Project Management skill with multi-task ability is preferred.
8. Proficiency in use of MS Word and Excel.
9. 2D Autocad experience is required.
10. 5 years management experience with positions of increasing responsibility as well as experience outlined above.
11. 5% - 30% travel is required.
