Job Description:
l Manage product development process from stages of concept to mass production
l Communicate project status to Product Manager in U.S. and other internal teams
l Create/manage and review product design
l Make functional or appearance prototype models and do tests to verify concept workable
l Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to fix design problems
l Prepare detailed product specifications and manage tooling fabrication
l Work with factories to develop realistic schedule and cost expectations
l Monitor pilot run and transfer project to Production Control Department
Qualifications:
l Bachelor or above degree in mechanical/electrical engineering , 5+ years working experience in household electrical appliance industry
l Knowledge in IEC, UL and other relevant safety standards is a plus
l Excellent project management skills and basic business senses
l Fluent spoken English is preferred
l Good communication skills and good team player
