Business Unit: Coating Additive
Principal Responsibilities
1. Support and assist the development, implementation, and maintenance of, including the management of change to, management systems and models. The objective is to have policies and procedures, which are clearly defined by CA management staff that provide guidelines and instructions to all pertinent phases of the CA business in Shanghai. These management systems and models must accurately reflect changes, as necessary, and regular audits must assess their implementation and maintenance. One element of the management systems should address training, including the need for defined and scheduled refresher training.
2. Coordinate, document, monitor, and assess all required training for CA staff. The objective is to have a staff which is trained to follow the policies and procedures which meet expectations which are defined by the CA management staff. These expectations include management systems or models which require CA staff in Shanghai to coordinate and execute all business activities in a safe and responsible manner. All training should be defined and documented, to the extent that documentation is practical, and certificates or records of completed training should be provided to participants. Regular audits should provide a means of both monitoring and assessing both the need for and the effectiveness of the training. The results of training and audits must be provided to and discussed with CA management staff in order to ensure all expectations are met. When applicable, a written training plan should be developed with coordination from CA management. Scheduling training must be coordinated with CA management.
3. Organize, support, and provide, if applicable, training and workshops or seminars in coordination with CA management. The objective is to provide or assist with the best mode of training including internal experts or mentors, or external contractors, vendors, or consultants. This includes on-site and off-site training or events. The CA management staff should be involved with the selection of the different modes.
Prerequisites and Requirements
The Training Coordinator:
? needs a basic understanding of the management systems and models and their content, including production and infrastructure processes, safe-work practices, environmental considerations and constraints, product quality requirements, and etc.;
? must have organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills which meet the defined requirements of his manager;
? must have word processing and spreadsheet software proficiency, and acceptable English written and language skills; and
? be able to make appropriate decisions with minimal supervision.
