Senior Manager WMS

Direct Reporting Line Senior Director Distribution APAC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
This position has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating
WMS application team support activities pertaining to the business units that will be serviced out of Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
? Negotiate contracts with application vendors and manage service levels.
? Provide direction and management to the WMS Application team.
? Support projects both within the region and outside the region as required
? Communicate with vendors and business in resolving issues with the WMS software.
? Work with business to identify strategic long term business requirements.
? Share knowledge and understanding of the WMS with the project teams.
? Develop work plans and staffing requirements to support the WMS application.
? Prepare and monitor support budget
? Lead the establishment and enforce standards within the Application organization
? Act as a liaison to project managers concerning sourcing and staffing issues.
  
Key Relationships:
? This position will work with multiple service providers to integrate multiple application solutions to provide business solution to run warehouses.
? Will be working with all levels of business users as well as all GIT functional groups.
  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Knowledge of current Warehouse applications and how they integrate with other business applications.
? Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the business
? Understanding of how WMS system can help the business meet goals
? 5 - 10 years of experience with WMS application systems
? Experience with MHE systems and how they interface with WMS applications
? Ability to challenge and propose alternative solutions
? Be able to examine issues both strategically and analytically
? Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations
? Strong leadership and communication skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required, graduate degree preferred.
? 8 or more years of experience with WMS application system 举报 分享
