职位描述

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
will provide support for factory production lines with a heavy emphasis on introduction of new products. The candidate is also responsible for manufacturing engineering projects including automation, process improvement, quality improvement, layouts, and documentation. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Manage introduction of new products, new production lines and new equipment.
· Coordinate each of the phases on development and introduction of new products.
· Develop ways to reduce labor and material costs and improve productivity while working with production and quality departments.
· Develop and implement productivity improvement and cost reduction projects
· Document and certify manufacturing processes, including creation of work instructions.
· Improve machine reliability/reduce downtime.
· Create mistake proofing devices (poka yokes) to improve production First Time Quality
· Specifies and works with vendors and manufacturing staff on the installation and maintenance of production equipment
· Provides technical advice and troubleshooting on complex processes and automated equipment.
· Implementation of maintenance programs for production equipment
· Work as a team player and be willing to perform tasks outside of the day-to-day operations environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
· Bilingual English/Chinese
· 5 to 10 years experience in an engineering role in manufacturing or product design working in a high volume manufacturing environment, including automated machines, equipment machining, assembly, and injection molding applications.
· Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, CPK, FMEA, TQM, and 5S.
· Good understanding of metal and plastic material properties.
· Good understanding of lean manufacturing processes
· Knowledge of ultrasonic welding and PLC programming
· Knowledge of spreadsheet, word-processing, SPC, and CAD is required.
· Knowledge of English language with both written and verbal skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prefer some knowledge and exposure to world class manufacturing principles such as: JIT, Kanban, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
· Good knowledge of automation and understanding of quality systems and ISO9001.
