Position: Group Legal Director - worldwide
Report to: President

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all legal affairs to support corporate operations global wide from legal stand point
2. Provide executive reviews under the framework of legal environment to ensure company's compliance with all the laws and regulations as a public company in HK and China, and maybe in other countries later soon, say in Japan, US and Europe.
3. Assist the board and senior executives with reviewing certain legal documents and providing legal opinions
4. Make proposals to management on achieving business objectives in compliance with local legal requirements and the applicable laws
5. Review and draft commercial contracts, legal documents with minimum supervision, develop and modify standard contract templates for daily operations
6. Research and obtain information from local outside counsel on local laws/regulations and pending legislation which may affect business objectives
7. Closely work with the other business team in risk management, and handle legal disputes of various nature
8. Conduct legal administrative and filing responsibilities, ensure proper filing and records retention of legal documents of the company and within legal department
9. Use independent judgment and exercise discretion in identifying, evaluating and addressing any legal issues and determining proper utilization of Company resources and personnel
10. Handle and facilitate the administrative license, registration and/or de-registration matters for all corporate entities and offices in Asia, North America and EMEA.
Requirements
1. a Master's Degree in law or equivalent is preferred
2. Over 15 years experience in the legal related area in MNC Company and/or law firm and overseas corporate and legal environment working experience is strongly preferred
3. Good hands-on knowledge of the full spectrum of legal practice with solid experience in contractual matters being a must
4. Good understanding of the multinational organization and the ability to work harmoniously and effectively across nation and cultural boundaries
5. Having the ability to work in a multidimensional matrix organization and willingness to be a team player and the ability to earn the trust of his/her colleagues
6. Ability to work independently and is not afraid of taking initiative, delivery quality and result and a team player with a strong sense of responsibility
7.Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English, Proficient in MS software
