The HAPPYLIFES INTERNATIONAL has been entrusted to assist a Retail company with major expansion plans to source a qualified Chief financial officer to join the team. This is a very unique opportunity and will offer incredible growth opportunity. Our client is a large distributor,listed on the main board of HKSE. Its main business products include home appliances, cell phones, computers, and a range of household items. The company realized revenue of about 50 billion RMB last year and is growing rapidly.

JOB SUMMARY:
The role of the CFO is to provide company-wide vision and leadership enabling the organization to achieve business strategic and objectives. It has the overall responsibility to provide the leadership and direction to the Finance Department and ensures the accurate accounting and effective, profitable management of the overall financial and administrative activities of the company. The CFO must be able to perform the management roles of the position. Reporting directly to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Reporting directly to the CEO/executive director, required to lead the company based finance partnership with the business to achieve the strategic and operational goals.
2. He/she also needs to provide advice, guidance and support to business leaders by enabling and influencing decision-making to achieve optimal performance.
3. Having a strategic mind and well rounded experiences, he/she will need to motivate and lead the team to develop with their growth. He/she will also have to make key decisions on the expansion of the Business, responsible for mergers and acquisitions and integration work.
4. Driving optimal resource allocation and deployment and ensure proper organizational governance structure and implementation including but not limited to financial controls and business Code compliance in functional teams; 5. He/she is a key member to lead and provide objective and value added support for Company business development initiatives and projects. As a leader, he/she must establish and sustain a high quality finance team.
6. He/she needs fully responsible for the Budgeting, Forecasting, Monthly, quarterly and annually including all financial Analysis.
7. He/she will also be responsible for internal controls, compliances, better business efficiencies and the full finance function.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1. Having a minimum of 10 years experience in MNC including experience at the senior management or executive level and knowing local conditions;
2. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with an MBA or Masters of Finace or other related major preferred.
3. The right caliber needs to be a strong communicator and leader with solid finance/accounting skills and sharp business acumen;
4. Strong skill sets in the area of general management, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, finance & controlling, risk management, information technology and business operations.
5. Track record of business finance experience and partnership for sales and marketing in circulation industry (such as retail ,wholesale ,chain store industry) is essential for this role;
6. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments, strong influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills, ability to interface internally,and externally to ensure successful, high-quality outcomes;
7. Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills,excellent problem solving skills, ability to think strategically and act tactically;
8. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user- friendly language and proven resource management skills.
