Job Description
As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be part of the Project team and be responsible of the application support of projects lead by a project team under the management of a project manager. You will lead several project specific parts definition, integration and test, such as project specific electrical solutions, test sequences and wiring harness. You will then be responsible of the complete integration, test and validation of the bench in which the electrical solutions are used. You will finally be responsible of the bench installation at customer’s side, customer training and after sales maintenance.
CHINA
Main assignment: Computer software development (C#)
Commencing date: as soon as possible
Mission
Analyze technical requirements from customers
Define, design, build and integrate test system solutions to meet customers’
requirements
Design the electrical schematic solutions for customers’ projects
Design and implement the test programs and sequences on the test system
Organize the integration of the test system and try run of the test system
Responsible of customer on-site installation of the test system
Training of customers
Support the after sales needs on the test system such as calibration, maintenance, additional trainings
Support and actively get involved in the manufacturing of the system with the manufacturing group
Responsible to report all project issues, follow the project documentation requirements, provide detailed intervention reports to the PM
Support the sales team for technical issues
Support the sales team for marketing development
Investigate and support the good customer satisfaction for each project. Collect and report the customers’ feedback to the sales department
Ensure good working spirit and communication within each project
Skills Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
Proficient in English and Chinese
Good knowledge of electronic
Good knowledge of software programing such as Labview, VBA, C or others
Available for regular travels in China
Have a proven work experience in electronic engineering
Have a proven customer project management
Have experience in electronic test systems built and integration
Experience in Automotive electronic components hardware design, such as Engine Control Units, Transmission Control Units, ABS, Radio
Experience in the automotive communication protocols, such as CAN BUS, LIN BUS, K LINE
Automotive electronic components industry experience

- a R&D department of 15 persons with in-house design competencies of hardware PCB design, embedded software development on ARM, STMicro, PIC micro-controllers, FPGA programming, C# and C++ User Interface software development.
