Responsibilities:

1) Develop and maintain procedures and/or tools to optimize warranty data analysis and forecasts. Reduce warranty cost and make customers to be satisfied.

2) Define and review warranty terms. Negotiate with customers on warranty agreements.

3) Continuous monitoring and systematic analysis of field claim data (customer portals, data banks) and of respective indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and/or possible upcoming issues.

4) Collect the full information of field return parts and make detailed records. Lead and coordinate related engineers (PE,SPE,QA) to make deep analysis and establish failure modes

5) Based on the evaluation of possible risks related to design, application or production process and initiate reasonable escalation within organization and corrective actions follow-up.

6) Regularly output failure analysis report to internal/external customers, explain report if necessary.

7) Review warranty responsibility ratio timely with respective customers, lead the negotiations for warranty settlements.

8) Communicates reliability findings and recommendations to product engineering, join in DFEMA/PFEMA evaluation and modification.

9) Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

1) Major in mechanical background, college degree, 3 years plus experiences of warranty or customer quality.

2) Must be capable of assessing production/design problem correctly and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

3) Must possess advanced statistical skills; design for experiments, process flow charts, failure mode and effect analysis, control plans, gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies.

4) Basic mechanical aptitude for problem solving.

5) Must be able to organize multiple tasks to meet established deadlines and have good computer skills.

6) Must have working knowledge of Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

7) Must have good organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
