Mission
We are looking for a strategically-minded & consumer oriented influencer-marketing talent, with a passion for Beauty and cosmetic in particular. Ideally, you’ll come with prior PR/Fashion media experience, preferably having worked in a large beauty company, top fashion media or leading PR agency company which provide consistent success record.
The candicate will be responsible for leading Brand public relations and influencer marketing plans for a portfolio of brands across. As part of a multi-functional team, the candidate will be responsible for leading earned awareness plans and efforts for our brands through executing PR and social engagement strategies and plans, including: designing, developing and executing influencer marketing programs and social engagement plans for new product initiatives and base business.
The candidate will also be in charge of building networks internally and externally and developing strong relationships with our agencies (PR, Digital and Advertising) and with key media, celebrities, influencers and external organizations, as well as representing the Company at external events.
Anticipates and prevents issues and manages crises to protect our brands.
Key Responsibilities
? Define marketing influencer marketing plan based on guidelines from global team
? Manage local influencer marketing budget
? Report local influencer marketing activity to global
? Translate global influencer marketing assets into local language and distribute to local media
? Manage relationship with local bloggers/vlogger
? Plan and execute local events based on global guidelines
? Initiate and manage relationships with key option leaders (e.g. magazines, bloggers,…)
? Organize public events to support new product launches and brand awareness
? Plan and execute global events; Approve local PR events
? Manage scientific communication (together with R&D)
? Build other key credentials (e.g. Good housing keeping. Dermatologists)
Key Competencies
Minimum 5 years of marketing/PR experience with proven strong understanding of both traditional media (TV, print, radio) and social media (digital, bloggers, social media platforms).
? Communications delivery
o Outstanding written and oral communications. Ability to adapt style, tone and content by audience/channel. Skills to counsel leaders and colleagues on how to communicate effectively internally and externally
o Confident speaker, has the skills necessary to leads execution of influencer engagements and events
? Strategy and Planning
o Ability to create PR strategies and plans that drive earned awareness and advocacy. Influences business plans and decisions as trusted advisor and company steward. Conveys potential risks in choices.
? Narrative and content creation
o Able to produce compelling content (shareable stories) that influence opinion and drives action to support the company and our brands.
o Recognizes what’s newsworthy, engaging and shareable and likely to spark positive conversation among target.
? Integrative thinking
o Integrates understanding of trends and stakeholder insights to drive linkages and opportunities not obvious to others; brings external insights in to drive strategy, inspire ideas and strengthen innovation.
? Strategic networking & relationships
o Develops deep knowledge of relevant stakeholders and has the ability to understand their motivations, needs and goals.
o Leverages relationships and networks to secure cooperation, amplify messages and generate credentialing for our brands/Company.
? Crisis & Issue Management
o Skills and experience developing communication plans and messages that mimimize negative impact and protect brand/company reputation.
o Able to collaborate with internal and external resources effectively across a range of issues and crisis situations, guides the business to informed and timely decisions.
? Digital Marketing
o Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media (wechat, weibo etc.) and display advertising campaigns
o Design, build and maintain our social media presence
o Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
o Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
o Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
o Collaborate with agency to create landing pages and optimize user experience
o Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
o Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
