Key responsibilities
Active Brands Shanghai Office is currently expanding at a rapid pace and are now looking for a Raw Material Team Leader. As Team Leader you will be working as a part of the Development Team being responsible for the development of all trims, packaging and fabrics. You will be delegating tasks and supervising a team of three Merchandisers while reporting directly to the Development Manager. You will be responsible for gathering, coordinating and communicating information with both Norwegian and Chinese colleagues. The position also requires the candidate to possess previous experience from working with garments and textiles.
We are looking for someone who is honest, responsible, loyal, proactive and hardworking. If you think that you fit in on this description and possess the necessary experiences and skills we will offer you a highly open-minded and dynamic work environment, centrally located in Shanghai´s Changning District.
Desired skills and expertise:
Have extensive previous experience from handling and working with Trims & Packaging, (minimum 7 years).
Experience from working with garments and textiles is considered an advantage.
Previous background from working in factories both in China as well as overseas is considered a plus.
Outstanding team management skills. .
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office package) is meritorious.
Organized and good knowledge regarding planning material schedules.
Excellent English verbal and written skill
Age: 30+
Resume must be handled in both in English and in Chinese in order to be considered.
