Responsibility
？ Work with Market team to generate customer insights via desktop research, hospital immersion and interview with customers such as surgeons etc. execute specific & general assignments that establish the feasibility of innovative.
？ Perform ideation for product concept generation
？ Utilize Biodesign ,JOC (jobs, outcomes & constraints), VOC (voice of customer) methodologies & surgical procedure knowledge to define product & design options.
？ Formalize concepts, breadboards & prototyping
？ Perform new concept selection and validation and technical feasibility analysis .
？ Support innovative product, system & component design solutions.
？ Support detailed design analysis & provide input or approval for detailed design specifications.
？ Provide support to patent attorneys for patent filing.
？ Assist in developing & monitoring project plan, budget, contingency plans & work estimation.
？ Coordinate integration of complex sub-system product designs.
？ Work Environment: Office, laboratory, surgical and manufacturing facilities.
？ 30% travel frequency


？Qualifications :
？ Bachelor Degree or above with discipline of mechanical engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
？ 5+ year working experiences in design for mechanical devices.(Front End experience is PLUS)
？ Effective oral, written, & presentation communications in English/Mandarin
？ Effective team interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within diverse cultural environments
？ Able to take initiative & be self-managing
？ General design engineering principles
？ 3D CAD software proficiency(UG and Solidworks is a plus)
？ Patent interpretation
？ Geometric tolerance & tolerance stack-up analysis (GD&T)
？ Personal computer software – Windows: word processing, project planning, presentation, e-mail & spreadsheet software
