About Internal Firm Services

Our Internal Firm Services (IFS) is a network of specialist support professionals who play a vital role in ensuring we have all the right resources, services and technology. Not all of us work directly with external clients. Some of our best people choose to apply their talents as part of IFS and as such are a part of an organisation on a par with many of our external clients.
Our teams in IFS include: Administration, Branded Merchandise, Business Development, Finance, Global PwC Experience, Global Technology Solutions, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Office of General Counsel, Research, and Senior Partner Office.
Job Description:
Planning & Completion
- Know the L&D curriculum in terms of the course duration, internal/ external venue, target participants, etc. for each course;
- Work with the team members in producing delivery plans for the year, including the run date, time and venue; number of instructor and facilitators required; other resources required;
- Assist in the planning and budgeting process, including the consolidation of the individual course budgets to the overall budgets;
- Maintain all details of all courses under a regular or as needed basis (course run dates and schedules, course managers, deployment managers, target participants, charge codes, officers, venues, etc.;
- Understand course logistics support required for the course and ensure that they are properly communicated to and set up by the L&D training officers;
- Assist the team leader in the preparation of training costs forecast, projections and budget v. actual analysis;
- Assist the compilation of the instructor ratings for each instructor on L&D courses;
- Assist in the completion of the overall course reports; and
- Make sure all records in the Learning Management System are properly updated by training officer.
Coordination & Administration
- Assist the team leader and all programme managers to prepare analyses as required;
- Attend regular meetings and report to team on any relevant issues;
- Be flexible in response to changing priorities and address ad hoc projects;
- Assist the team leader to coordinate the logistics for meetings including circulating the meeting details and agenda, keeping the minutes and following up with relevant managers on action points;
- Maintain and update L&D curriculum-related resources and databases; and
- Identify and line-up delivery resources required to support all L&D projects.
Requirements:
- Preferably with more than 1 year working experience within L&D or training function of a professional firm;
- Good project management and communication skills;
- Strong people management skills with an ability to work with people of all staff levels;
- A team player with a positive attitude;
- Excellent in MS Office; sound knowledge of MS Excel is essential;
- Keen to help with and improve L&D service mentality.
