Job Summary
? Technical liason to Jabil automotive global manufacturing sites for the key commodity of Integrated Circuits (ICs).
? Support of Global Quality organization for identification of gaps in systems and proceures with proposal, training and implementation of solutions
? Frequent interface directly with suppliers and supplier executive management including on suppliers site.
? Key auditor of suppliers of Automotive ICs for selection, performance improvement and verification aspects.
Provides techincal training to manufacturing site SQ engineers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
o Supplier Quality Issues
o Develops supplier metrics with associated targets for the IC commodity. Uses SPR system as key tool.
o Maintains dashboard for senior management review
o Defines, prioritizes and initiates actions necessary to achieve desired or defined performance levels of the supplier
o Drives investigation, containment and effective resolution of quality issues that are impacting Automotive sites
o Manages systemic supplier corrective and preventive action activities for IC commodity
o Drives continuous improvement with suppliers regarding capabilities in problem solving including problem identification, containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action and effectiveness verification at site request
o Provides technical training and liason support to Jabil manufacturing sites in support of customer responses.
o Escalation point for sites regarding systemic supplier gaps and failures.
o Participates in site initiated Manufacturing Quality (MQR) reviews with suppliers
o Leads Manufacturing quality reviews with suppliers for systemic issues including broken first level MQR above
o Supplier Continuous Improvement
o Leads the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers
o Establishes goals and objectives for continuous improvement for suppliers that are in line with Regional and Global targets and initiatives
o Stays abreast of emerging commodity trends and technologies
o Supplier Qualification and Surveillance
o Based on site needs and requirements, leads the development and execution of assessment plans for new supplier qualification and surveillance audits.
o Accomplishes audits in relation to IC supplier corrective actions and product transfers
o Collaborates all activity with key Site, Global and Corporate Quality Management
o Holds frequent alignment meetings regarding IC commodity. Supports strategic activity of corporate SQ and SC.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Global Automotive Quality Manager
Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
? Advanced PC skills, training and knowledge of SAP is preffered
? Demonstrated skills must include strong written and oral communication, leadership, process development, administration and change management
? Fluent in written and spoken English.
? Familiarity with and experience in applying Six Sigma methodologies is desirable (qualified Green Belt / Black Belt preferred)
? Able to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees or organizations. Specifically supplier executive management.
? Working knowledge of Quality System tools including , PDCA, 8D, CP, FMEA, APQP at a minimum.

Education & Experience Requirements
? Degree in a Technical Discipline (i.e. EE, ME, QE) with demonstrated technical expertise in the Integrated circuit (IC) commodity field, plus 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer/Manager. Supplier Quality preferred.
? Additional certification such as ASQ CQE, CQM, CQA; or ISO Lead Auditor is highly desirable.
? Techincal experience in Integrated Circuit (IC) commodity / industry mandatory
? Automotive sector experience is preferred
? Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
