Position Overview and Responsibilities

In this role you will work with a wide and diverse set of engineering resources, services resources, customers and vendors to manage custom solutions throughout the opportunity, implementation, deployment, and production phases. Responsibilities include: identifying system elements and processes needed for success, coordination of resources to meet deliverables, coordination of vendors and partners, managing customers and internal stakeholders, identifying and managing risks to deliverables, and providing guidance for solutions system integration.

Core Job Responsibilities

?Plan, execute, and oversee successful completion of custom system projects based on NI platforms

?Review project performance and quality

?Provide mentorship and develop others

?Use independent judgment to design and develop custom solutions

?Scoping, sizing and estimating project cost during the opportunity phase

?Present custom solutions proposals and recommendations to customers

?Accurately identify and communicate internal and external customers’ needs

?Oversee system integration schedules and timelines

?Utilize Project Management approaches to manage resources, schedule, timeframe, and quality

?Develop detailed statements of work and MOUs with partners and customers

?Coordinate vendors and partners

?Domestic and international travel of about 50% is required to support project objectives such as the following:

1.Coordinate NI system development and deployment activities at customer sites

2.Lead NI engineers to ensure NI system that developed or deployed at contract manufacturer sites meet customer requirements in stability and reliability

3.Interact with customers to lead the resolution of NI system issues at customer sites

4.Meet customers to negotiate on deliverables

Position Requirements

?BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

?7+ years’experience with system integration projects in the test and measurement industry

?First hand experience creating solutions with NI products

?Strong communication abilities

?Strong understanding of business concepts and impact

?PMP certification is a plus

?Demonstrated ability to:

1.Select project management approaches that will lead to project success

2.Persistently drive tasks and lead programs to successful completion

3.Work effectively in a group development environment

4.Develop successful solutions to close schedule gaps
