职位描述
l Powertrain Calibration Verification & Diagnostics Senior Engineer is responsible for calibration data verification for localization programs, and be responsible for EMS (Engine Management System) diagnostics for any relevant issues occurred in the JV verification tests. Also be responsible for the JV brand vehicle program calibration development.
l Planning engineering activities for calibration data verification, interfacing the calibration supplier – Headquarters for calibration design verification for LWB (Long Wheel Base) program and calibration transparency for SWB (Standard Wheel Base) program as well, coordinate with Headquarters calibration team to define SOW (Statement of Work), set deliverable requirement and sign-off criteria, following up the verification course, ensuring it meets the program requirement with respect to the budget and time line.
l Leading establishment of useful pre-check and trouble-shooting process for typical failure modes in the Emission /PED testing.
l Providing skillful investigation support to the JV testing team or any tests performed by any other departments in the company with regard to EMS diagnostics; provide professional and practical solutions to solve any occurred EMS malfunctions.
l Managing electrical tool /device readiness and tool-using skills development within the team, create tools readiness plan, maintain the tool storage and execute device procurement; conduct the equipment-using training for the team as a trainer, or organize training from outsourced companies.
Requirements:
l Degree in Engineering / Engineering related field (BEng / BSC) – BEng Mechanical Engineering Desirable
l At least 6-year relevant Powertrain Engineering and /or programme experience with a high level of understanding of Powertrain Systems.
l 3-year plus working experience as EMS calibration engineer, including engine test bench calibration and /or Powertrain-in-vehicle calibration.
l Deep understanding /knowhow in engine thermodynamic development and base engine calibration theory, including torque model, air charge, fueling, exhausting, knocking, mis-fire and etc.
l Vehicle driveability calibration working experience.
l Gasoline car OBD calibration working experience.
l Powertrain electrical /EMS diagnostics /trouble-shooting knowledge and experience
l Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
l Experience of working with multinational OEM.
l Willing to travel within China and Internationally
l Willing to take the lead and challenge others to deliver
l The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives.
