Job Description:
As an Advanced Purchasing Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to work on advanced analytical tasks, often of a confidential nature, to support the Global Purchasing category management and/or site management. Using your leadership capabilities, highest ethical standards, and advanced Project Management skills, you’ll also help suppliers develop improvement plans related to Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM). In addition, you will provide value-driven results by supporting purchasing teams and ultimately - customers, all while working in an engaging team environment. Receiving guidance and support from your Manager and experienced Buyers, your additional responsibilities include but may not be limited to:· Performing strategic analysis of purchasing and quality data such as purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection disposal reports, tooling records, and supplier data;· Implementing local or regional sourcing strategies; and· Supporting Buyers, Supplier Development Engineers, and/or Managers working with category teams and sites to ensure all requirements are met.

Required Qualifications:
This position requires:· An undergraduate degree from a college or university – or equivalent experience; · Understanding of QCLDM & project management skills; · The ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment; and · Willingness to travel up to 25% of work time as needed.
Desireable Qualifications: The following criteria will be beneficial but not required:· Experience with basic procurement and quality principles, procedures, and techniques; and· Skill in use of various computer software programs.The ideal candidate will also demonstrate effective communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative work style.
