QA INSPECTOR (FOOTWEAR)

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the operation and administration of QA function for Footwear product
- Responsible for inspection, pre-production, in-line, laundry monitoring and final audit
- Work with merchandisers, vendors, suppliers and manufacturers during seasonal cycles to anticipate, prevent and resolve quality problems
- Communicate quality requirements, inspection policies and procedures to new factories to ensure that production will meet company's requirement
- Implement quality control policies and procedures as directed by senior management to ensure conformity with legal and corporate specifications and standard
- Conduct evaluation on potential vendors in the areas of production capacity and performance
- Assist merchandising team in sourcing new vendor/factories


REQUIREMENT

- Diploma holder in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience with 2 years experience in Footwear/Shoes control (preferably in USA & Europe markets)
- Strong knowledge in quality assurance & manufacturing process and factory evaluation
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Detailed, proactive and independent
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Good Command in Microsoft Office
