DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES (TO INDICATE ALL TASKS PERFORMED)

1.To meet central-planning's goals in Demand-supply optimization, capacity planning, planning lead-time, Inventory level, On-time-delivery, and regional factories-optimization.

2. To lead a team of Technicians/Planners in achieving mid to short term supply-plan and continuous process improvement.

3. Responsible for Management-objectives, in terms of flexible-supply, optimum loading to internal/external factories, New-product launch, equipment cost optimization, and lead-time measurement.

4. Direct supervision to Engineers/Planners in the areas of: planning data accuracy (parameter, BOM, logics), factories loading decision, capacity/cost improvement.

5. Lead planning process, and ensure planning tools' upkeeping and accuracy.

6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Good Industrial engineering knowledge including Operations research/Capacity planning/Methods engineering/Work measurement and techniques

2. Effective communication skills.

3. Good English in both written & oral

4. Degree or Diploma in Supply-Chain/Industrial Engineering/ Logistics related or Engineering.

5. 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of planning or manufacturing-operation. Hands on experience in using MRP/ERP systems and Multi-site planning experience is an added advantage.
