About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you’ll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You’ll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you’ll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you’ll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the review of requirements, perform functional designs for tax data analytics software;
• Create and contribute to design / coding standards and improvements on the development process;
• Implement high quality code adhering to design and coding standards;
• Responsible for the documentation of design, coding and testing;
• Maintain software in an effective and efficient manner;
• Work closely with team and fix the defects efficiently; and
• Resolve technical issues and provide technical support.
  

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience of software development, experience in supervising a development team is an advantage;
• Good command of speaking and writing English;
• Good at Core Java or J2EE technologies, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, familiar with UML;
• Hands-on experience on MSSQL/Oracle/Sybase and J2EE frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Struts and etc;
• Knowledge and experience of software testing , Linux environment and command is a plus;
• Good team-work spirit; and
• Strong responsibility and flexibility under work pressure.
