Job Description & Responsibilities:
Due to considerable development in the demand for our services with regard Corporate Risk and Treasury, we are looking to build our Mainland China/Hong Kong based team with the addition of suitably qualified senior associate and managers. The members of this team would be expected to participate in the active growth of the Advisory business within mainland China, Hong Kong and across Asia. The roles represent a combination of business development and leading and supporting the delivery of complex and innovative solutions to our clients (i.e. large, well known clients) and the opportunity to be part of large consulting engagement that expands beyond treasury function.

Supporting the team expansion, we are looking for ambitious Senior Associate/ Manager in our team in Mainland China and Hong Kong, who wish to continue to use their skills and experience who can capitalize on our deep business networks and to deliver the following key services:

1. Analyzing commodity and foreign currency risk and related strategies and process and implementing appropriate solutions;
2. Developing China and international cash, banking and liquidity management strategies and processes;
3. Setting up an regional treasury centres;
4. Developing treasury policies;
5. Evaluating Risk and Treasury practices; and
6. Selecting and implementing treasury-related technology.

Reporting structure & key relationships:
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Director, Partner

Requirements:
Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 7 years relevant Treasury and/or risk management experience at:
• a Fortune 500 corporation;
• a consulting firm;
• a bank developing and/or selling such services to Chinese and multi-national companies;
• a treasury technology solution provider;
• Prior experience in the areas below outside and within China is preferred:
• Foreign currency and commodity risk analysis, strategy development and process design and implementation;
• Cash, banking and funding management;
• Forecasting and liquidity management;
• Trade finance;
• Designing a world class treasury function, including organization design and roles and responsibilities; and
• System selection and implementation;

Knowledge and skill:

• Relevant knowledge of global leading practices for Treasury and / or risk management obtained through proven consulting, banking or practitioner experience;
• A consulting mindset and experience;
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Mandarin and English);
• Excellent writing and presentation skills (Mandarin and English), particularly the ability to write succinct, well-structured presentations and reports;
• Good business sense and judgement;
• Good organisation skills;
• Self-motivated;
• Team player;
• Willingness to travel

Education:

• A bachelor degree in finance, economics or business;
• An MBA in Finance preferred.
